Contractor Directory Terms & Conditions
    

1. The Contractor Directory and all information published is a database for information purposes only and does not constitute a reference, validation or endorsement of any of the contractors.

2. Contributions to the Contractor Directory are encouraged providing they are made in a responsible manner and are in no way inaccurate, untrue, defamatory or misleading.

3. It is the responsibility of the party submitting information to the Contractor Directory to verify the accuracy of that information before it is submitted.

4. All information and content submitted to the Contractor Directory is subject to approval by Amtech and Amtech may use its discretion in this regard.

5. Amtech is not responsible for any content or information published within the Contractor Directory including its accuracy or relevance and no guarantee is given about any content on the website.

6. Amtech shall not be responsible for any links to other websites contained on the Contractor Directory.

7. Amtech reserves the right, at its sole and total discretion, to remove, withdraw, amend or update any information, content or entry published in the Contractor Directory at any time.

8. Amtech reserve the right to contact contributors to the Contractor Directory on a periodic basis to confirm that the information submitted remains current.  Failure to respond to such contacts within a reasonable timeframe may result in removal from the Contractor Directory. 

9. Amtech is not liable for any interruption, shut down or suspension of the Contractor Directory or the deletion of any files or information.  Amtech is not responsible for any direct, indirect or consequential loss resulting from the information published in the Contractor Directory except that Amtech does not limit its liability for death, personal injury or fraud.
 
10. Amtech is not responsible for any reliance made by any party on the information contained in the Contractor Directory and no party shall have a claim against Amtech for innocent or negligent misrepresentation or any loss hardship suffered as a result of relying on or acting upon any statement in the Contractor Directory.

11. All parties submitting information or content to the Contractor Directory agree not to sell or trade in any materials on the Contractor Directory or redistribute the material in any way including the compiling of any databases, directories, customer lists or providing information to any third party unless otherwise agreed in writing with Amtech.

12. Contributors to the Contractor Directory must not copy, reproduce, disassemble, decompile, reverse engineer, download, post, broadcast, transmit, make available to the public, or otherwise use the Contractor Directory content in any way except for personal use.

13. The intellectual property rights of content submitted to the Contractor Directory shall remain with the relevant party submitting that information and no intellectual property rights shall transfer from or to Amtech or any other party under any circumstances. All other intellectual property rights in the Contractor Directory remain the property of Amtech and are expressly reserved. In this context intellectual property rights include, but are not restricted to, Copyright, Database Rights, Design Rights, know-how, confidential information, trademarks, trade or business names and any other similar protected rights.

14. Contributors to the Contractor Directory agree to comply with all applicable laws and codes of practice including the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Code of Practice on Telecommunications Directory Information covering the fair processing of personal data in relation to all information contained in the Directory.

15. These terms and conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales and both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
