Amtech delivers more efficient Test & Inspection for MITIE

Greater efficiency and improved productivity are key reasons for the use of Amtech’s FastTest test and inspection software by MITIE Technical Facilities Management’s Electrical Testing Division.

“We carry out all of MITIE’s test and inspection work nationwide, so working efficiently is a very important in managing the workload,” commented MITIE’s General Manager Steve Kennaugh. “The software is very straightforward and has been installed on our central servers with no conflicts with other software or drivers, which can be a problem when you install new software,” he continued.

In addition to the server-based FastTest, each field engineer has a copy of FastTest installed on a laptop so that certificates can be quickly completed on site. Once they have been completed and validated, the certificates are imported into the central server so that all records are up-to-date and backed-up.

MITIE also subscribes to Amtech’s PremierCareXtra support service. “The support is excellent and most issues are dealt with immediately. And when a solution isn’t immediately available they come back to us very quickly, providing efficient support to a time sensitive business ” Steve Kennaugh added.
